DESCRIPTION:
Massachusetts, possibly Stephenson, Howard & Davis, Boston, Mass. 8 day, time and strike weight brass movement patent or banjo timepiece. The use of a three pillar design with two access holes through the front plate leads to the attribution. See "Willard's Patent Time Pieces by Paul J. Foley", Pg. 155.
CONDITION:
Refinished mahogany and mahogany veneered case in nice condition with a small veneer repair at the top of the throat door. Both tablets are nicely done replacements. Original dial has been repainted. Hands look to be replaced.
